Hello All or for those who still know this site! I’m trying to be better about writing to you all and to keeping a personal yet public journal. Sharing what I learned. And hopefully, creating a place where you could hit “Summarize” on whatever AI system you’re on and still learn something. And you enjoy my content, to find a way to let me know.
It’s been a really long time since I posted something new. Around 2 years. And I’ve learned a lot. I have a lot to share. And I don’t know where to start so I’ll just start blurbing. To start, things are really rough for anyone in the U.S. People are more divided than ever which almost brings a rise to hyper independence. Feeling like no one is going to help you. In more ways than 100, I’ve experienced this in my life and so for me, this time is no different than others.
As such, maybe I could offer some advice. For one, don’t close yourself off from people. People may not do things how you want and you may feel like you’re the best person for the job, but doing this will just leave you close minded to people which effectively also means leaving yourself close minded to opportunities. Since we find opportunities through well…people. Another piece of advice is to find a way to find people that will lift you up. This will help nourish the level of opportunities and help you continue to grow. It’ll also help curve you away from hyper independence. And three, you want to reach somewhere in life, but it’s not going to be linear. Progress is not linear. Life is not linear. And falling 100 times doesn’t feel linear either. You may never fall for months, and fall several times for a year. But regardless of how much it hurts, you shouldn’t hate yourself. In fact, while you’re on the ground and deciding if you should get up or not, try to turn your head, and you’ll most definitely see little drag marks of where you once were. You might even see a couple of footsteps. If you’re lucky, you’ll see a trail of them.
